“Our national security efforts rely on aerial supremacy, and these phenomena present a challenge to our dominance over the air.” (December 2021)

Kirsten Gillibrand, a Democratic United States Senator from New York, has been instrumental in advancing UAP-related legislation. As the Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities for the Armed Services Committee, Gillibrand co-authored the amendment that established the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) within the Department of Defense. She has consistently emphasized the importance of investigating UAPs from a national security perspective.
