David Fravor is a retired U.S. Navy Commander and former F/A-18F Super Hornet pilot best known for his involvement in the 2004 USS Nimitz UFO encounter, often called the “Tic Tac” incident. Fravor and his flight team witnessed an unidentified object performing extraordinary maneuvers off the coast of Southern California, including rapid acceleration and abrupt changes in altitude. Fravor’s firsthand account of the encounter, supported by radar data and infrared footage, has become one of the most credible and well-documented UFO sightings.
